Eco-responsibility in our DNA
At Format, sustainability is not simple marketing, it is a conviction that has grown naturally through our projects, our encounters and our responsibility towards a sector in constant movement. As a leading stand builder in Luxembourg, we strive not only to create exceptional solutions, but also to contribute to environmental protection.
Why we care
There are many reasons why we care, not just one…
For more than 30 years, we have focused on modular systems such as bematrix and Octanorm, which allow structures to be reused instead of constantly producing new ones. In fact, many of our frames and modules have been in use for decades, and that is where our strength lies: a stand does not need to be new to tell a new story.
This approach to reusing structures not only reduces waste, but also allows us to create completely sustainable concepts, from the initial idea to the end of a material's life cycle. Anything that cannot be recycled will be sorted and processed professionally, without compromise.
The origin of our materials plays a decisive role. We select suppliers who enable short transport routes and share our standards of quality and sustainability.
Thanks to our own LMR joinery, we can develop hybrid solutions that combine modular construction with individual wooden elements. The result is stands that are both sustainable and aesthetically unique, always designed with the environment in mind.
For Format, sustainability does not stop at national borders. Thanks to our international OSPI and BeMasters network, we support our customers all over the world, whether in Luxembourg, France, Dubai or elsewhere.
With a clear conscience: our partners share the same values in terms of reuse, resource conservation and responsible production.
This enables us to carry out projects anywhere in the world that meet the same ecological requirements as those we implement in Europe.
For your project, we consider solutions that minimise environmental impact while enabling us to create high-quality, functional and visually impressive projects and stands.
For Format, sustainability is not a goal to be achieved once and for all; it is an attitude that drives us every day to reflect, improve and take responsibility.
